code geass' first few episodes are some of its best, if you don't like it then you prolly won't like most of it. ending is great though

you’d do well not to speak on things you haven’t even seen all of, makes you look dumb.Code Geass is overrated imo but definitely worth a watch if you enjoy sorta mature, sci-fi Shonen

this is 100% true tho. damn near every anime has some stand alone episodes, so acting like something is worse or less interesting cuz it’s episodic just doesn’t make sense

Thats like 1/5 into the show though, my main gripe with the show is it tries to tackle subjects like colonialism and racism but it’s so surface level s*** so far i just can’t recommend it to anyone. This is a common thing with Japanese story telling so i’m used to it but this is way to surface level imo
