I pay taxes as a middle class college student on financial aid working part time for the college because I give a f*** about the fact that some part of my tax dollars are helping people who need that more than me and are helping the country run

It’s disgusting to me that it’s spent on military and s*** but I stomach that because I truly believe that some part of my tax dollars are helping people and even helping myself

The fact that a billionaire can pay less tax than me in my situation when I’m not even a f***ing American is absolutely disgusting. It’s not defensible. It’s not a “oh the loophole exists” thing. It’s disgusting and it shows his moral character at its core

Absolutely those loopholes shouldn’t exist. But you still make an active choice to exploit them
