He could make another 9/10 album, just off rapping ability and fun lyricism and s***, but I’m not sure he has the subject matter/content to make another 10/10 classic like MMLP.
Em, for all his strengths, has a hard time finding things to write about other than his personal life.
Luckily, at least in a musical sense, his personal life was quite interesting for like three to four decades straight. But now there’s not much going on. It’s stable, but uninteresting.
Obviously I prefer this and him being happy to him being unhappy but in a more “interesting” place, but one drawback of where we are now is that it’s hurting his music.
