I’m going back on campus on January 24th, but I desperately need some money. Is it even possible for me to apply and secure a job and earn some money before the 24 of January when I have to leave?

Temp agencies will get you working someday or the very next day start there.

Everyone I know is telling me doing stuff like setting up interviews, sending applications, waiting for call backs, etc is gonna take up most of my time before it’s time to go back

They require nothing, off the streets type stuff.

You'll be assigned to do random unskilled labor.

and yes like job hunting is tedious, but if you exhaust every avenue you're bout to get a few interviews at the miniumn.

May I ask how your applying? Online or walking in and asking if places are hiring?

my country is heading into lockdown again, so it's all on online atm with that being said i only hand CVs in person if i know the company is recruiting.

it wouldn't hurt to ask the employer if they are recruiting before handing them a CV just for you to keep copies of it to use someplace else.

Try to get with a temp agency. I think they get paid every week. You’ll be straight by then. Try security too, they be hiring like crazy.
