Been recording a lot lately and wanted to get thoughts on this one track I recorded. May not be everyone’s taste, but I’m digging it.

The beat isn't good; it is genuinely not a pleasant sound. You sound scared while singing/rapping; before you record a new song, make sure you feel very confident about it, because it shows in the recording. Try and record multiple takes too, to get the best performance down possible using editing.

Keep perfecting your voice is what i suggest. I can hear where your confidence fades in n out @ certain spots. if you can improve that ur on the right track

I'll say the beat is boring and you need to work on your vocals. The beat isn't bad, it just needs something else, something else that's consistent throughout the whole song too. For vocals, like someone else said, just go into it confident The singing/rapping thing just may not be for you, but you can tell your confidence fading in and out as you don't sound completely comfortable throughout the whole piece. It sounds good enough, just not great; it can come across as bland tbh. Good job putting yourself out their though. It isn't terrible at all, just needs a little bit of improvement.

I think you just need to practice a little more & a couple things that stood out to me are you're overusing that stuttery kind of flow pattern a lot and that gets really repetitive and unpleasant to listen to after a while, and that you should also choose your lyrics more carefully so that you can ride with the instrumental better instead of having to enunciate shorter words differently just so that it goes with the beat. Other than that I agree with what others are saying about sounding confident but that's just something that goes along with practicing and becoming more comfortable with the recording process. If you work on those things I think you'll be good

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. I was trying something new and I’m far from being a singer. Lol I think I’ll just stick to perfecting my rapping

    i'll be honest

    i really didnt like it

doesnt mean stop ttrying if this is what u wanna make then keep making it

but for such an acoutsic beat your voice needs much more dynamicity and flavour because just natually its not there

The guitar is cool. I see the idea. Execution and simply learning the craft will improve this. It’s a 4/10. Keep practicing. Get more comfortable on the mic.

Edit: Skimmed it at first. At second listen it’s about your dead aunt. That’s beautiful. It’s something you play at a family get together and people cry. The amateur rapping and bad singing give it character. If you want to do music ignore everyone.... even myself.... except this.......

Think of your favorite artist.....don’t copy..... set the bar to surpass him/her.
Because at the end nothing we say on KTT matters. Make music you would like to listen to, then make music YOU WOULD listen to, then make music you would look UP to.

Good s***, thanks for the feedback. I don’t usually make music like this, so I was trying something new. I think it fits well in the mix of songs I am putting together for a project. I will most definitely rework on the hook
