MOTW being a bad album, him doing a Prince tribute after disrespecting him when he was alive, being accused of cultural appropriation, people talking about the Janet Jackson fiasco, and the way he f***ed over Britney Spears being talked about more and more...
Do you think it's curtains for JT? How can he make a comeback and clear his name? Does he deserve another chance?
He’s done. Made some great music along the way but he’s the classic case of not knowing how to bow out gracefully
Can we get rid of the narrative that MOTW was bad
It has some really low lows, like the lowest of his career but it still had some highs and songs that stand up to the rest of his discography. He just needs 1. Less Neptune’s production (can’t believe I’m saying that) and 2. To lock himself in the studio with Timbo like how they did 20/20 part 1

20/20 Part 1 is a classic.
20/20 Part 1 is a classic.
And the thing is I feel like part 2 is almost just as good. In the same tier.
Nah JT past his prime, not saying he can’t make good music but ain’t on Bruno level when it comes to popularity.
I was really disappointed in 2020 Part 2 and MOTW
Not a Bad Thing is one of his best songs though.

What were the highs on MOTW? I don’t even think it’s hyperbole for me to say that album was really terrible in every way.
We all thought Timbaland was washed for years leading up to 20/20 pt 1 also and it ended being some of the best production he’s ever done
So I ain’t giving up on JT yet tbh. He just needs to work with Timbaland because that duo is undefeated

Filthy, Midnight Summer Jam, Higher Higher, Breeze Off The Pond, and Montana are all bops

it’s bad, deserves to be more forgotten than it already is
weak commercial impact
critically panned
hurt his image in almost every way
it’s his big day
Where she at?
In the alley with the troops.
