I have been feeding my cat salmon instead of tuna for the last week or so

I have had her for around 6-7 months and when I feed her I would always say "it's tuna time!" And she would run out and meow at me. It's cute

I have still been saying "it's tuna time!" But I am now feeding her salmon instead....I feel bad but I want her to still be happy about tuna time

Is this wrong? Should I stop lying to her? Should I keep this going? What if she was to find out ?

when you consent to the lie it becomes part of you. you accept it into yourself, you opt into it and it will further compromise you. now it gets easier the next time to lie like a destructive d*** addiction

she probably knows it’s not what ur saying it is and just associates that phrase with getting served food. don’t beat urself up.

see if she responds when you tell her it's salmon time
