Even his collabs outside of Drake are flopping. Travis might need to call Kendrick up again.
lmao
why is the cameraman shirtless?
@op @myanswer777 drake's home country too
Album did 496K fw he fine
With Bundles and damn near half the industry on it.
i can def see “i know” being a latent sleeper hit
hopefully they do a video and do a concerted push for that joint cause it’s definitely the one
k-pop def seems like they intended it to be a big moment but i can’t say they planned on it being a smash that was song of the year
because the rollout of the song/video was all at once and was really intended to build hype for the album. after the initial release, the sole focus was selling the album to people, not that song.
although trav pulled out all the stops for this album to make it a massive event, i can’t say i really believe they strived for a sicko mode/goosebumps type of record
because even on the biggest sounding songs on the album, they don’t necessarily follow the rubric he’s followed for hits in the past
not saying none of these songs could be singles btw. just that i don’t think they’re necessarily designed to be smashes. they definitely focused on the songs sounding big and tearing up an arena/your record player more than fitting on playlists and radio rotation
Travis sold less than Kendrick, Kanye, and Cole fw without bundles. That's a fact.
And him having many of the biggest names in the industry on it helped his streams and sales.
Not sure why that's a hot take to you.
No but like 90% of the industry can't so it's not saying much
if not why is the highest charting song rn from the album a solo song?

It doesn't invalidate the success of the project and the music was still good so it really doesn't matter how he got it out to people/made it as long as it was a good product
Lotta bitterness on this site
