  • Travis Scott Is going to be dealing with lawsuits & litigation for the next few years. I’m curious to see how this is going to affect his touring & partnerships with brands like Nike & McDonald’s going forward. R.I.P to the people who lost their lives..

I was thinking about that too, but isn’t his whole brand built off being a rager.. that’s where a lot of his appeal comes from right?

The chocolate starfish say he'll be aight

(he'll probably be even bigger after this, Woodstock 99 made limp bizkit huge)

His singles probably got a bump from this, and I really doubt the local officials have any intention of holding him or Live Nation accountable.

    bro what is this comparison

Tragedies at a concert that aren’t the artists direct fault aren’t going to affect the artist’s image substantially

  • They'll be able to recover

It will absolutely affect his touring as venues will now see him and his fanbase as a liability. The insurance rates for his shows will be sky high, and some venues may refuse to book him altogether over the next year till this fully calms down.

In terms of endorsements, we’ll have to see, but Travis was getting a lot of endorsements geared towards the youth, and with how pissed parents are right now with him I can’t see him getting something like Fortnite right now.

His aesthetic and the ambience of his shows are now getting criticized and scrutinized by people who were previously not paying attention, and it may be a little while for his sponsors to successfully market him.

He’s taking virtually all of the major heat from the public, when LiveNation and the venue are realistically hold the majority of the fault in practice. But unfortunately that’s what you sign up for when it’s “your festival”, you are marketed as the organizer, and you promote the unruliness of your fans.

Luckily for him, in terms of legal issues, it will be the opposite. Live Nation and the Venue will get the lion share of the blame in that regard, because as I said, in practice, they are really who are responsible for the organization of the event.

He will have to tone it down a bit with the live performances.

After looking at all the footage and information, it's truly a case of him being lost in the moment and the fans being in a state of mass psychosis

Travis doesn’t have to change his image at all. I think this would make them want to go to a Travis concert even more. Kids love the thrill of being in a dangerous place. Just take a look at cartis tour. He could flip this into the biggest rollout of all time if he plays his cards right.

Difference between this and Ariana Grande is a) she’s a white girl making pop music and b) she obviously had no control over that or knowledge it was happening until all the damage had been done. Travis kept performing while things were getting worse even if he didn’t really understand what was happening.

They may not be easy on him. Long run I think he’ll be absolutely fine but if he is impacted I think that’s why.

don't think it will affect his career
