Starboy isn't my favourite album of The Weeknd's, but he clearly stepped out of his comfort zone with it. Also, yes he emulated a pop person -- is that supposed to be a critique?

Definitely not. But zero radio play and 95k copies sold in its first week was definitely not what he was aiming for. Hence why we got KOTF but no album for that era
