Because his verse is ridiculous, and the song is easily one of the best last decade
It may be the best Ross/Nas collaboration
KTT2 speak on it
No. His verse on eye for an eye on the first mobb deep album is crazier
He was in his prime when he dropped that verse though
Triple Beam Dreams was well after his prime and he went crazy

Nasty by nas is crazier and thats post his prime also

Nas & Ross got some classics thx for bringing this back to my attention @op
A project minded individual, criminal tactics
Us black kids born with birth defects, we hyperactive
Mentally sex-crazed, dysfunctional, they describe us
They liars, at the end of the day, we're f***in' survivors
I remember watchin' Scarface the first time
Look at that big house, that Porsche paid for by crime
How could I sell this poison to my peoples, in my mind?
They dumb and destroy themselves is how I rationalize
In the b******ized nation, Magnum .45 carryin'
Where I'm from ain't far from Washington Heights to cop Aryan
A rookie boy, the cookie didn't make no profit
A stranger to the block, I damn near had to make them cop it
It only took a fiend to taste it once to say it's garbage
I brought it back to papi, ain't tryna take no losses
He focuses on my emotionless young dealer face, then pauses
He gives me powder, he has faith in Nas' ambitions to distribute coke
Had addictions to gold chains, Mercedes Benz hopes, but I'm again broke
This s*** ain't cut for me, other dealers, they up their orders
Barely at 62s, they already up to quarters
They out there every day, some true hustlers for you
I'm at it half way, none of my customers are loyal
Picturin' pipin' out the seats of a Pathfinder
Powerful pursuit for p****, cash, to flash diamonds
My junior high school class, wish I stayed there
Illegal entrepreneur, I got my grades there
Blamin' society, mad, it wasn't made fair
I would be Ivy League if America played fair
Poor excuse, and so I was
Throwin' rocks at the pen, just for the love
Before the evil, the secret life of G's
You seein' me blurry, triple beam dreams

!https://youtu.be/3BzjBPeEZJsIt just is. Its way harder. In FACT. Nas verse on outro from lil waynes carter 4. Is WAAAAY harder. It comes right on after that bun b verse and before that wack ass shyne verse.
I s***ted on this boys whole thread. So many better verses.
But you never dropped the songs or verses
Unpopular opinion, but.....
Nas verse on Triple Beam Dreams >>>>>>> Nas verse on Verbal Intercourse

Yo he really went to work on that song
And it caught me completely off guard the first time I heard it.
Still sounds amazing today.

Is this the poetry of god?
Is this the poetry of god?
Yo..
It hits different when you read it too.
Like given the context/purpose of the record.. like wtf
And Rick did his thing as well, they played off each other effortlessly but Nas was on another planet man
J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League did the beat too, right?
Man, I would give anything for a Nas album fully produced by them. That beat was beautiful.

Yup.
I really enjoyed King’s Disease but I’d be onboard for an executive produced album by (Rick Ro$$) for Nas.
I enjoy the creative direction of all their records, and with the right album concept/production/guests the project has the potential to be really good.
Definitely will be entertaining
