Cole and Kendrick are still on Drakes level. Maybe 10 years ago when they were all pretty new in the game but Drakes transcended from just a rapper to a worldwide brand and icon. Kendrick and Cole are still just rappers and appeal to a way smaller amount of people. They don't even have the whole "real hip hop" lyricist crowd locked down they have it split with Eminem fans.

If all 3 drop the same day drake is doing double numbers and the most talked about. Just facts. Kendrick and Cole are much closer to Wiz and Future level in terms of selling music and show tickets than they are Drake and Kanye.

They're on the same level as long as Drake operates in the hip hop space. He's obviously more successful globally but as far as hip hop goes, Cole and Kendrick are right behind him.

I think people underestimate how successful Kendrick Lamar really is lol

Kendrick Lamar is the greatest rapper of all time

I didn’t know Wiz or Future headlined the highest grossing hiphop tour ever at any point or the longest charting hiphop album ever

    Very surprised to read that

  • I'd say focus on Drake, but Drake is kind of a void you fill with gossip about the people surrounding him these days.

Just listen to the music you like. It doesn’t matter.

When you look at the music Kendrick makes and how humble/mysterious he is in the limelight of the mainstream, he actually shouldnt be as big as he is

But he does ridiculous tour numbers and goes platinum every time he drops

All Drake is to the average person and music enthusiasts is a popular rapper. Nothing wrong with that, but he'll never be remembered as an artist the way Kendrick and potentially Cole will be.

  • Who cares about numbers. Cole has a few feature with Drake and this is the first time he bodied him. Seems like Coke belongs more than you’re making it seem he is

This isn't true at all and I hardly even listen to Drake

Drake and Kendrick are trapped creatively under their fans expectations
