I’m literally on my third PS5 controller since launch and it’s starting to drift. $70 a pop for these dogshit controllers that barely last 6 months on what I’d consider very moderate gaming (~6 hours weekly). Went through two sets of joycons as well I’m just over this s*** man

Either they need to get their quality control up or they need to charge less for these. Three digits almost for a product that barely could last a year if you’re going out of your way to be delicate to it. SMH

Relatable across all modern platforms. I’ve come across joystick drifting on Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, PS4. Part of life I guess.

never had this problem with a xbox controller

DualShock 3 and Xbox 360 controller can still hang with the best of them tbh

ive had some insane luck with controllers throughout my life but its unacceptable that this is still a problem. dualsense should be using hall effect sticks

I know I’m going to jinx myself saying this, but I’ve had 2 PS5 controllers since launch and both are in great condition. Same thing with my Switch joycons

It always surprises me to see how common stick drift is, but it definitely sucks that it is such a common occurrence

i only ever had drift on my original 3ds

What games do you guys play? The only controller that I had drift was my ps4 OG controller from launch. It lasted until 2 years ago.
Ps5 holding up strong. I’ve dropped them on accident and everything, and definitely play a decent amount

xbox one controller remains the GOAT

joycons quite possibly the worst controllers ive used

went thru like 3 of em and i never break controllers. s***s built like fisher price toys

Dual sense is absolutely s***. My coke with console controller had drift, my replacement has drift, my replacement for that one is in hell. It’s insufferable

Ps5 controller is the best I’ve ever used

My ps5 is a fighting game machine. The kicker is I use dpad for inputs so the fact my a***ogs still drift is insane

I have like 2 xbox controller with defect D-pads cause I play some games with D-pad only 🥺 and then they suddenly don't click anymore

To everybody itt, get either the gulikit kingkong or the 8bitdo ultimate wireless (depending on your platform) for no drift. They cost as much as the official 1st party controllers and while they dont have all the features of the official ones, they got hall effect sticks so imo still worth the asking price
