I swear at least 80% of the time at rap concerts I can barely hear the music. I wear earplugs & it’s even worse without. Idk if something is wrong w my hearing but the bass just overpowers everything to the point the lyrics are indistinguishable.

It’s enjoyable to rap along at shows but if I lose where I’m at in the song no way am I catching back up cause I can only really hear the baseline. Idk if it’s bad acoustics, bad mixing or what.

Still enjoy shows for the energy but damn

Depends on the artist. Some it sounds good but some the mixing is so ass you can’t hear anything but bass

Really just depends on the venue and who they have controlling the sound. I know when I saw Billie at a festival all you could hear was bass and it was so bad people started leaving her set.

I’ve only seen two people that were huge major label acts at the time and it never dawned on me that aspiring artists have to find a solid mf to work their sound and s*** lol. This seems like a dumb question until you think about how hard that s*** can get lol
