if you like nirvana you should check out AIC, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, and even the spin-off bands

check out audioslave as well, its rage against the machines' guitarists and drummers, along with soundgarden singer chris cornell. great group if you want an alternative sound
