Tryna make some moves now so I’m not broke, 30, and living with my moms getting my ass beat.

These are the spark notes of it:

Year 1: Get a new job, move to new city, network, create connections, invest and save what I can.

Year 2: Maintain relationships, get professional certs, get real estate license, start selling houses on the side, build a list of clients/develop ways for sourcing new prospects

Year 3: Look for new job, invest heavily, start selling more houses, get into committed relationship

Year 4: Start developing/investing more time into real estate, maintain committed relationship, networking with contractors,

Year 5: Have real estate business be primary income, maintain committed relationship, start building properties, quit job

    How?

    Figured it out:

    Year 1:

Getting a new job and moving to a new city is an excellent starting point for your plan. Make sure to research the job market and opportunities in your desired city.
Networking and creating connections will be crucial for both personal and professional growth. Attend industry events, join professional organizations, and use online platforms like LinkedIn to expand your network.
Investing and saving are wise financial goals. Consider setting a specific savings target and explore different investment options to maximize your returns.
    Year 2:

Continuing to maintain relationships and expanding your professional network is essential. Building a solid foundation of connections will benefit your real estate endeavors in the future.
Obtaining professional certifications and a real estate license are great steps towards establishing yourself in the industry. These credentials will increase your credibility and open up new opportunities.
Starting to sell houses on the side is a good way to gain experience and build a client base. Focus on providing excellent service and developing strong relationships with your clients.
    Year 3:

Looking for a new job in Year 3 shows that you're open to growth and new opportunities. Be proactive in seeking out roles that align with your long-term goals and aspirations.
Investing heavily and continuing to sell houses will help accelerate your progress. Explore different investment strategies and consider seeking advice from financial professionals.
While it's important to pursue a committed relationship, be mindful of maintaining a healthy work-life balance and dedicating time to your personal and professional growth.
    Year 4:

Increasing your focus on real estate development and investment is a significant step. Consider learning about property development, identifying potential opportunities, and connecting with contractors who can assist you in your projects.
Maintaining your committed relationship is important, as relationships provide support and balance. Ensure you allocate time and energy to nurture your personal life alongside your professional endeavors.
    Year 5:

Making your real estate business your primary source of income is an ambitious goal. By this stage, you should have accumulated significant experience and a strong client base. Focus on scaling your business, improving efficiency, and providing exceptional service to your clients.
If you're considering building properties, conduct thorough market research and feasibility studies. Seek advice from professionals in the industry and ensure you have a solid understanding of the process before undertaking such ventures.
Quitting your job to focus on your real estate business requires careful consideration. Ensure your business is stable and generating consistent income before making this transition.
Overall, your five-year plan demonstrates a thoughtful approach to personal and professional growth. Remember to remain adaptable and open to adjusting your plan as needed, as circumstances and opportunities may change along the way. Good luck with your endeavors!
