You gotta admit he has a point about liberal elites exclusively marrying white people while trying to be so supposedly "radically black"

Interracial relationships are all well and good but you can’t be pro-black with a white woman on your arm

You can't maintain your whole public image off blackness and not even marry black imo. But that's just me
I would never dedicate my life to a white woman

Saw a pic wit him and this white woman but guess it was a rumor. Anyway I see the point he’s trying to make, and I can agree with it to the extent if you constantly the type to date outside your race. But ultimately if you find love, the race don’t matte and you can still help and support the black community regardless.

Exactly, the US and South Africa are like the only places where everybody with even a drop of black blood is considered black and that’s because of white racist. Why should we as black people define ourselves by the thoughts of white racists?

Lmao. There’s a lot of those one drop descendants that grew up in majority black families though. they’re black people mentally but enjoy white privileges

Lowkey I think mixed people aren’t black, they’re mixed why do we ignore an entire 50% of their genes?

They aren’t “only” black, but I think it’s foolish to alienate a group that is one of the growing ‘races’ in this country. Don’t we constantly see these studies of “white will be a minority in the US because of mixed by 2050” or some s*** like that? Why invalidate one part of their identity, and in doing so typically push them towards the other side of their identity? I’m not with trying to gatekeep blackness.

In my opinion the most pro black thing you can do is have a black family and raise some black kids right thats like the bare minimum

Restoring the family unit in the black community is top 3 easily I agree.

Exactly. Mixed people face different struggles from 100% black people. They aren’t nearly as privileged as white people tho, which is why they should be classified as “mixed,” their own group separate from both blacks and whites because that’s what they are.

Idk it feels disingenuous to say they not black because they don’t face the exact same struggle. There’s less injustice but it’s still not some funny s*** & in many cases the exact same s*** unless you look like lonzo ball

It’s not invalidating their blackness, it’s simply acknowledging the undeniable fact that they have just as much whiteness as they do blackness. Many hispanics aren’t purely native or European, they are a mixture, so they are given their own denomination and treated as a separate group from both natives and Europeans. Why can’t mixed people be called mixed?

Aren’t most light skinned people mixed tho? Like j Cole for example. I didn’t know he was half white until he said it.

I’m not saying they aren’t black, I’m just saying they’re mixed. Why are we the only people who’s DNA is treated like something that completely nullifies every other DNA? It’s a belief rooted in racism.

This is why interracial marriage is the enemy of black people in my opinion. It’s neutralizes the black family unit by definition.

They’re mixed but they look and usually identify more as black than they do white

I dont care enough either way tbh
