Logic Pro X gotta better work flow for me. I have Ableton but it’s not as smooth
I've been on Logic for just over a year
There are things I hate about it, but I always come back to it. I used reaper for a bit (absolutely sick) but the stock reverb and delays are meh, and i'd rather not invest $ in new vsts.
Just wish there was a way to scroll through audio (I know about scrub) and see how fades affect the audio.
Alchemy and chromaverb are god level
i'm not talking about drum breaks bro. i mean trap drum loops (hi hats, percs, claps, kicks ect)
whats wrong with that
if it's a good sound it's a good sound. I make some of my drums from scratch (normally just a snare transient tbh, shoutout to serum) but there's nothing wrong with using samples.
Any of y’all invest in Komplete 11-12?
What y’all think about that VST?
i'm sure it's great but idk if any vst is $300 great
i'd rather pay for DAW lessons with that money
Basically if it sounds mysterious it’s serum & ableton
If you heard it in a barber shop it’s FL studios & gross beat
Lmaooo this is so accurate
I believe you just cause my hi hats and 808s never sound good on ableton
u prob got trash samples and not eqing your stuff properly

southside aint using no drum loops lol.
at the end of the day. All the REAL production gods of this decade using FL.
I swear by ableton but can’t front like this isn’t true

the samples should be fine i think ableton comes with an 808 drum rack
I bought a $600 Maschine drum pad in 2016 that I've yet to learn how to use.
2020 is the year
Real. You better use it those colorful lights are calling yours and my name.

Why you using stock sounds
lol just say you prefer to use templates and presets as opposed to making your own sounds
You can do that all in FL dumb dumb. I do all that STILL in FL10 I never use loops or samples & I sell sound packs myself. With my own created template work space.
Almost all DAWs are the same nowadays for almost 5 years or so. Just depends what "aesthetic" you like more for the most part & what you're more comfortable with.
This thread is literally people who have no idea what the f*** they are talking about lol
acting like music sounds different depending on the DAW you use
Almost all daws have been pretty much the same in terms of what they can do since like 2013/2014 lol.
Niggas still acting like it's 2009.
if its mid it was probably made in logic or ableton
wrong

FL is my maim thing now and forever but I can't lie Ableton SALPS like a mf . I get tired of the learning curve tho. Once I hit a wall, Instead of taking the time to figure it out I just open FL and do it on less than a minute
all you need is one daw lol its not that deep.
All I need is one daw
But which one
It’s a Nas “One Mic” ref :)
But I use Ableton.
I started out using pro tools but did not like it.
I then tried Ableton and Logic and choose Ableton.
I sometimes use Maschine to make demos, but everything ends in Ableton
