Surprised I didnāt see any previous threads on this. The closest I saw in this section was something about people not having inner voices. If you lack the ability to visualize things in your mind, how does this affect you while reading? How do you process stories or information?
It canāt be that hard

Was pretty surprised when I found out some people could not do it
Yes I know what a f***ing apple looks like???
2-4 gotta be for people who don't eat fruit and only know it through emojis or the back of their iPhone

its moreso about visualizing things in your mind
Some people ofc know what an apple is but cant make the mental image which is what #5 represents
i think this s*** can explain why some people canāt stand reading, i canāt fathom reading a fantasy novel or some fiction and not having the ability to picture the characters, the scenes, the world etc
like that sounds like agony lol, you mean to tell me these niggas are just seeing straight up words and canāt build an image out of it

wow so this guy who's an author and has sold over 50million copies of his books cant visualize things in his head? thats insane to me, but maybe it makes his work easier idk

I be rotating slicing zooming in on that hoe
Ya I was in a university study because of it. Was comparing people who canāt visualize at all and people who are in the top 1% of detail in visualizers! I donāt know how muhc of it is practise though because I have been drawing all day everyday for like 12 years and do a lot from imagination. Even though im a visualizer, some of the most succesful artists of all time canāt visualize at all. The guy who created the little mermaid and designed Ariel canāt for example.

At first I saw #3. But it slowly rendered into #1. I saw a hyperrealistic apple floating around within an ethereal blue and purple backdrop
Mine ranges from 2 to 3.
I don't believe in 1 because it would have to look real as a computer screen to qualify as a 1 imo.

Yeah some objects and ideas like
human face or orange shirt are just floating kinda there, and I'm just like "yeah I can see it?"
Cause I know what a human face or an orange shirt should look like

I'm between 3-4 just trying to visualize an apple by itself on my own. But, if I can smell an apple or hear the sound of someone eating an apple or someone describing it in detail, I'm at 1 bc my brain draws in all the details. I would be lying if I said I can see a whole apple in my head without closing my eyes and focusing on that one thing.
