I think PP is different in the sense because he genuinely is dumb and is a husk with catch phrases. Carney is educated, has some serious world experience and relevant job training.
I'm not a Carney fan boy btw. I would have voted PP over Trudeau if those were the options.
I don't think Carney will do much to alleviate grocery prices, gas prices , house prices on account of he is boys with the billionaires and it's a multi faceted issue , but I do think he will make deals to push Canada in the right direction

Yeah, he’s just another neoliberal politician. It’s a shame but I do like him. For instance, the grocery rebate they put out is great and all but the core issue with groceries in Canada is that the whole market is run as an oligopoly.
We need to split them up and induce competition back into the system.
Families will benefit from the 1.1-1.8K per year rebate but it’s effectively a subsidy to Loblaws, Empire, Walmart, etc
