Mackie returns to reprise his role as Sam Wilson but instead of playing his alter-ego Falcon he has been tapped as the new Captain America following the series finale of Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Not much else is known regarding the project and Roquemore’s new role is also being kept under wraps.

I loved the series so tbh I'm excited for this. Feels like this, the Thunderbolts, and the Falcon and Winter Soldier show will all kinda tie in together.

I agree. This is what Feige meant when he said not every story will tie in together, instead there would be mini arcs taking place. The Pandemic screwed up scheduling which led to Phase 4 being disjointed

There's a dynamic between President Ross and Sam Wilson. They have a history together, but in this film, we'll be seeing the dynamic between Captain America and the president of the United States in a way that is just incredible.

This has been a dream for years, ever since Jon Favreau cast Harrison Ford in Cowboys and Aliens. I was always very jealous of that, so to have him finally in the MCU is just incredible. It's like, I can cross that off the wishlist.
