It's my first post here. Didn't like the show that much.
It's like calling a movie about War Machine Iron Man 4. Except Steve's trillogy is the best in the MCU.
But the difference is he literally is Captain America now
It’s like saying Spider-Verse shouldn’t be a spider-man movie because Peter Parker isn’t spider-man

tbf none of the Cap movies have numbers on them tho
It can still be called "Captain America: __" and still work
Like he's literally Captain America lol
wonder who his villain is gonna be
us agent / power broker / thunderbolts
Haven’t seen the finale yet lmao but I assume...

i need to stay off the fkn internet

I understand but he's not Falcon anymore. He's officially the successor to Steve Rogers now. But you knew that when Steve gave him the Shield himself.
War Machine was never going to be a successor to Iron Man. Rhodes does his own thing.
The actual Iron Man successor will be Ironheart and I wouldn't be shocked if she got her own movie after too.
I’m trying to think what they could’ve titled it besides Captain America
Every movie has been solely the title of the hero/heroes so far.
Maybe ‘Sam Wilson’ but that’s kinda lame and doesn’t work
Yeah I’m going to the cinema to see the new marvel movie ‘Sam Wilson’

Only non hero titles movie that works is Man of Steel and The Dark Knight lmao
Like imagine Spider-Man 4 being called “The Web Slinger”

"Sam Wilson: Captain America" but it doesn't realistically work for a film at all. Thats more of what you'd do for a comic and it'd fly

The overwhelming majority like Sam Wilson as Cap and a few people who dislike the show aren't going to make a substantial difference.
People seem to forget alot of people weren't huge fans of Steve Rogers until The Winter Soldier. It was basically the Iron Man show in the MCU until that movie came along. Give Sam Wilson's character some time to grow. He's got another decade of content in the MCU before he hangs it up.
It’s pretty typical in comic books for a new character to take up a mantle, to become that character and then become the protagonist of stories with that title
Little weird for movies but I actually think it’s cool and very comic book-y
I don't know. These two combined still not as interesting as Steve to me. That's why I enjoyed Zemo more.
US Agent also had his moments, but dude ended up being dumb.

Black Captain America and The Boat.

yeah, but we all know it's a trillogy. Like Thor, at least for now.
BCAATB (2024)
Like the only difference between Endgame and now, is that now we know Falcon is black XD
Bucky will 100% be in Captain America 4. Him and Sam are BFF's now and possibly in-laws if Bucky keeps macking on Sarah.
I mean he has to be.
But the difference is he literally is Captain America now

I wouldn't want Miles movie to be called Spider-Man 4, yet he is Spider-Man.
But I guess this whole CA4 is just a temporary title.

This is an interesting rebuttal TBH, I can see then much more likely calling that movie Miles Morales or Spider-Man: Miles Morales or something.
