I think marvel forgets that while they are superheroes each hero has his own kind of genre they work well in.

Iron man -> Light Scifi inventor s***

Captain America ->Spy espionage

Thor -> Fantasy (comedy too, but still fantastical)

Spider-man -> Coming of age teen drama

All of post endgame has just been about the universe at large and it just doesn't work at all

I feel like Cap was a bit too involved with the government and marines in this movie

Makes sense for Sam as a character I guess

Movie was okay, I do feel like though blending the best aspects of FATWS and this into one movie would’ve been way better

I understand TV shows might turn some people off but I think it's an extremely weird gripe to have on a shared universe that's 15+ years deep. The whole MCU is based around doing your homework atleast a little bit.

It was just 5 films before Avengers. It's been 13 films plus 6-7 Disney shows that are so cobbled up together before we reach doomsday.

Kang is dead. Doom has no build up as of now. It's a net negative with phase 4 and 5 right now. Really this phase is just holding us over until we get to the X-Men

Movie was alright just saw it yesterday. Had a decent enough time watching it with the fam.

Not as bad as some folks were making it out to be, they were really od'ing with the hate.

Mackie and Ford were good. Danny Ramirez was a good sidekick and I didn't find him annoying either. and Carl Lumbly, and Giancarlo Esposito were standouts from the supporting cast but I felt kinda empty after watching it.

Sam as a character and Mackie as an actor deserved a better movie rather than being in a sequel to a 17 year old movie than most people dont even remember.

Movie was decent, I enjoyed it for what it was. They managed to make Sam’s Cap enjoyable & cool to watch. You need a certain suspension of belief at parts but it’s a comic book movie so idk why there’s nitpicking with this movie in that regard. It’s a good edition to the MCU

Didn’t think it was as bad as everyone made it out to be. It’s better than some of the movies we’ve gotten in the Infinity Saga that has the benefit of Infinity War/Endgame.
