You had to be there to understand C3.
lowkey 1 is my favorite cuz I have so many memories to that but they’re all amazing and it really depends on what I’m in the mood for
I think out of all of the 5 Carter albums,it goes like this:C2,C4,C1,C3 and C5. C4 gets to rank pretty high cause the album as a whole is just so fun,it’s just Wayne having fun with words on that one. C2 is a great album period,Wayne came into his own and then some on that album.
C1 is good but it feels almost like a demo of who Wayne would become later in his career. There isn’t too many people that revisit that album. C3,as a person who lived through that era,is kinda boring now. The work and craftsmanship will always be recognized on that album, and I wouldn’t argue with anyone that puts it number 1 on their list of Carter albums cause I understand.
But at the same time, people aren’t really going back to this album like that, and if they are,it’s purely for a quick nostalgia fix and then after a few songs, they turn it off. Then C5 hasn’t really had a chance to age that much but I still would call it the worst Carter. Media tried their best to hype this up as a mega album but those same Wayne fans, even from 2011,just moved on.
Decent songs throughout,nothing incredibly special.
There isn’t too many people that revisit C1? This is a bold faced lie lol

The singles are classic but other then that,I don’t see too many people just running that album back a lot now. I know dudes who’ve moved on in life now use to bump it heavy still in the early-mid 10s tho.
C3 was such a blast of fresh style, vibrant colour and experimentation. C2 was par for the course in comparison
All 3 are classics that most rappers dream of making
