Anyways, amazing album. Also can we talk about how hard the C2 mixtape with Birdman is? For some reason I had always thought that was an unofficial thing for years and never bothered to listen until recently but god damn
one of his many classics actually, why you put it like that op?
Many? We talking albums?
Contrarian take
It’s mainly because I have more memories and s*** associated with C1, just my personal preference than a definitive take.
I used to have to work this crazy ass job the summer after my senior year of high school from 5 am to noon and every day I’d get off, blaze with the homies until my parents went back to work after lunch, then grab a 6 pack and some black and milds and get fried on their patio until they got home at 530. For whatever reason id always pick C1 to listen to when I did that. Amazing summer

That’s actually a really nice story. So despite me disagreeing, I understand where you’re getting at 100%.

But trip and that .40 make a chip
Out a potato-head wimp, then, like ranch, I dip
And the hustle is all muscle, just strength
When it comes to that weight, I don't struggle, I just lift
I got my hand on the game, yeah I make a grip
Hundred grand in my fist, same on my wrist
Get ki money from a quarter, blame it on my wrist I whip coke like hoes, n***, I'm a pimp

I wish Wayne never stopped rapping like this but I’m not mad at him for leveling up. C2 will always be my favorite Wayne album.

the progression and transition between c2 and c3 is the difference maker between a great rapper and a goat. Many good rappers fail to do that. Wayne a true legend

I would take C4 and LFLS up out of there
Both of them had some great moments but classic is a stretch
C1-C3 certified classic no argument there
Tha Block is Hot idk if I would call that a classic ALBUM, it was a classic song and he def showed promise on that album but it wasnt like everybody was riding out to Tha Block is Hot front to back
Get it How U Live a regional N.O. classic, Guerrilla Warfare really the one we was bumping on the East Coast. I was a kid but I remember all the adults around me f***ed with it heavy and I def remember hearing it during some of my childhood backseat car rides. I guess it’s a classic in that sense but I went back to it recently and I couldn’t get through it I ain’t goin front.
Album wise only classics I feel super confident about are C1-3
Now if we talking mixtapes he got at least 5 more classics on top of those
