say what you want about carti, but he went the artist route and did what he wanted to do, a lot of people would've caved into the pressure and try to appease every portion of their fanbase, but he said f*** that, let me make something I want to hear. that deserves nothing but respect, especially for an artist in the mainstream.

I just wish he was more in-depth with lyrics, he has the charisma but the weak pen-game is a bit of a turn off. Especially when one song starts to sound like the other.
