I know it was Nudy’s song but given an official release it would’ve instantly proven to the labels that Carti is commercially viable. Ever since that song leaked he’s just been trying to recreate it. He hasn’t switched his flow in over a year at this point

I just meant voice wise. 21 Savage could’ve whispered on every song he recorded after Dont Come Out The House and he could’ve switched up the flow and beats but it wouldn’t have been good

Nah i mean like yeah he kept the high pitched voice, but listen to it closer, his inflections and delivery significantly different. He isn’t stagnating.

I think it’s precisely bc he changed too much that he’s experiencing this s***. Since Kid Cudi, he just been going higher and less understandable, and I think he hit the point where average listeners can’t tale it no more.
I mean that Lean ft is literally not in English half the time, and im not saying that as sum joke.
