They groupbought a song called Real Music:

after some digging from staff, they discovered that the original file mentioned someone named Lawson
and this text convo was posted
Which alleges that this song and Timeless, were made using AI and written by a team of people signed to Ojivolta.
Now here’s the concerning thing. Both Ojivolta AND Lawson are both credited on the released version of Timeless, which seems to back up earlier theories that that song was made with AI.
This makes it unfortunately very likely that Carti plans to release songs not performed or written by him on his next album.
Whether this is just Carti himself being lazy or some effort by UMG (who have signed deals with AI companies to create voice models of their own artists) to try to push AI in music, it seems incredibly soulless and basically is the end of any creativity or personality in mainstream rap
Honestly this creates a pretty interesting concept if you step away from the emotional reaction to it
Artist can create a sound and brand and then let other people make songs with their vocal filter thus making the ghostwriter concept really a machine/band type thing. Kanye lowkey is kinda also already doing this in a way

I love Carti usually but the flows on Timeless surprised me and made me once again realize his ceiling potential is so high when using those crazy vocal changes. S*** sounded effortless and pristine.
Yeah he don't be saying s*** but he was Blades of Glory skating and hitting triple axels and death spirals all over that track. Felt like AirDrop bombing my white ass neighbor this s*** as an mp3 just so he can also witness how amazing this nigga is.
And now you're telling me there's a ren and stimpy writing and recording and making fake vocals for this s***? I might have to start ordering benji blue bills merch or something. I need collateral for my time.

i don't get boxing yourself into a corner like this. what if it is real? then you just look like an arrogant d***head who is confidently wrong about stuff.
personally i'm not really sure. timeless doesn't sound like AI to me, but it wouldn't be hard to conceal that with a good voice model and good mixing.
