If for some reason they put a fanservice character on here i hope its palpatine. Imo he has never actually seemed smart or really political, feel like this show would work for him.
I think the reason why this recent episode isnt getting that much traction is because its building up for the attack on the base. Next episode will have more discussion.
I’m a marvel fan too, and am enjoying she hulk. but I’m just saying this is what Star Wars fans have been after and no one is supporting it it seems
You’re enjoying She-Hulk? God help you
How the f*** is this not getting more attention? I don’t wanna hear y’all complain about “oh we not getting enough quality Star Wars content” when i see this thread empty AF for obviously one of the best written SW projects period let alone shows.
God damn bro this episode was f***ing fire. I’m loving the build up to this mission, the tension within the whole squad. I’m interested in seeing where they take Syril’s character and them showing what makes him tick. Andor gets some more growth and intrigue to how he operates. Mon Motha family dynamics are super interesting, the ducking set design and sound design is damn near perfect
This isn’t the fans fault lol. Disney killed so much goodwill that average SW fans had with the franchise up until now that there’s not gonna be a lot of excitement
Sucks for smaller scale presumably well done shows like Andor but that’s why
again, its funny seeing these die hard Star Wars nerds saying this is boring. Like have they ever watched an actual well made series? Andor giving me The Wire vibes

The die hards not liking it?
I assumed this kinda fell into the Star Wars cartoon stuff branch, where hardcore fans love it but the bigger public aren’t really tuning in
But I haven’t been keeping up with the show at all so I’m missing all the discourse

It’s a fun show. I don’t take entertainment so serious especially if it’s on brand with the character. I think people hating on it are just mad at life.

Idk I’m only saying that from what I’ve heard from Star Wars theory and the Den of Nerds guy who quit Star Wars because of this show lol
also I love how they make the empire scary like with that shot of the tie fighter flying past them. Makes it seem powerful
This series is so f***ing good, i'm still shocked after every episode that disney has allowed them to do this.

Why don’t you shut the f*** about “Disney this” “Disney that”
How about you actually shut the f*** up, try the shows first episode or two and then tell me you don’t like it because you actually gave it a shot, not sit here and blame Disney for every single piece of Star Wars media you don’t like, guess what George Lucas him f***ing self made trash tier Star Wars content, shut the f*** up and give each piece of content a fair shake.

He’s saying Andor is well done, but because Disney hasn’t handle Star Wars very well people aren’t in a hurry to see Andor
Seems like a valid point

and the political side of the empire is getting really interesting and seeing how each person operates in the empire

I’m venting towards him but in reality i’m talking to people who actually unironically give these talking points about “hurr Disney ruined Star Wars durrrr”
Like it’s so f***ing annoying at this point
and the political side of the empire is getting really interesting and seeing how each person operates in the empire
I get a sense that the people making this have a sense of what fans want and its working. Seems like these people actually know Star Wars. Just look at this show and put it against Boba Fett and Kenobi

Even in the writing. Of how people talk. You know this is better and more fitting for the universe of Star Wars tbh
Disney sucks IMO
But I am very glad they are figuring it out with this show and hope it’s a good sign for things to come.
It’s interesting seeing more of Monthma and her family. Adds a bit to her character knowing that the strife in her family is a consequence of her living a secret life. Also iirc they made the TIEs way scarier than usual and it’s great.

Wait he quit following SW s*** because of something good?
