Love yall man. Saw him at midnight. Doing much better than he was yesterday. Was breaking my heart seeing him struggle to get air. Gums were black/blue. Doctor said if she had to bet, he probably won’t make it. Decided to stick to it and spent the 8k on treatment. He’s responding to treatment, he’s eating, even standing up and walking around. They’re working on keeping him stable, will eventually reduce oxygen to see if he’s ok with breathing on his own. He’s fighting, and I love him for that!

Bless you. My girl had to make the same decision for her dog when she wasn’t doing good. Been three years and was worth the money.
Hoping bossy has a full recovery ❤️

this is incredible
they’re tough b******s i’m hoping for the best for you and him
Update: they were able to get him stable, moved forward with echocardiogram, cardiologist reviewed, identified hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, looks severe. They give him 1-2 months to live. I’m just happy we get to bring him home where he can rest up and play with his big brother. They all said it’s a miracle he responded to treatment and is alive. I have faith that he’ll continue to keep beating the odds.
Thanks to everyone here that got me through these difficult past few days. I pray that there’s a good place in heaven for each and everyone of yall.

Heart failure. 8 years old. I’m fcuked up this hurts

Update:
His respiratory rate was increasing and there was fluid building up again. We brought him into ER thinking they’d do a quick xray and change meds, they said he would have to go through intense treatment again and there was a good chance he would fight and wouldn’t make it. We decided to put my boy down today. His prognosis was 1-2 months, he made it to almost exactly 6 months. My guy was a fighter. I love him so much. Thanks to everyone here for the support when i needed it in February. Yall got me through a lot. Love.
R.I.P bossy man, you’ll be missed 💙
