    There’s no harmony, there..
it was a simple vocal inflection (ornamentation). Ya’ll niggas call it ‘adlibs’ I think. it is catchy though

none of the videos posted so far showcases any vocal harmony. I think ya’ll might be confused with the terminology.

The most recent example of Elaborate vocal harmony used in a hip hop Setting is Savage Remix.. and that’s because one of the artist (Beyonce) is a bonefide vocalist. Vocal stacking and layering is a skill and requires a certain level of musicianship that most rappers just don’t have.. unless they’re hybrid artists like Lauryn Hill.

It may not be a harmony but it is definitely not an Adlib in the hip hop sense

I know they don't mean to use it wrong, they just don't know. But I've gotten used to people using musical terminology all the way wrong lol

I'm kinda surprised it happened on a music fan forum tho

Post malone records straight up harmonies, usually just up a 3rd or 5th interval but still nice to see the effort

    Migos sometimes too.
