So I work in an office downtown dealing with public relations in Richmond and we have a large lost and found area. People have left iPads, Apple pencils, wallets, umbrellas, graduation attire, and other everyday essentials. I do the lost and found labeling, meaning I put them into the system and then tag the items everyday.

Today, I took my lunch break a little late and came back and saw the manager putting lost items into his pocket. I also saw him using one of the lost Apple pencils for his iPad in his office. He doesn’t know I saw him because I was peeping around the corner to see what he was doing while I was gone (I’m nosy).

What should I do? Some of the items lost have been sitting for days/weeks but sometimes people come back for their items.

We have lost and found drawers for different months and he was stealing from the May drawer I think. I just don’t want it to come back on me since I’m the one labeling and placing the items in their spots

I almost said something about that too, like if it's your job to label and keep track of this s*** then he could easily just put the blame on you and f*** your job + you'd need to explain why you left in the next interviews
