to be fair his record deal set him up to capitalize in the American Market bc he has distribution for US territories
most UK artists don't have that
most UK rappers probably could but his ascent from unknown to TikTok famous song w/ Doja to Collab with Drake was very quick.
I don't think its all based on his racial ambiguity but I see what you're trying to say

Yeah like his fanbase damn near all women in the US he has a very different demo from the rest of UK rappers in America atleast I'd say.
I really didn't know UK niggas took him seriously as a rapper but I'm not tapped in with that scene like that I always assumed it was accepted he's more a Nelly type pop rapper

his image + accent has a certain appeal that most UK rappers don't have
imo Nemzzz is the only other UK rapper that is on track to get as big in the US
