JbreezyondeckDoes anyone remember about ~6 months or so when he posted a story of the Take Care and SFG (?) eras and said “I’m feeling like this again” or something along those lines?
That’s really resonated with me and based on last year I feel like he’s really reignited a creative spark within himself and I’m truly here for it
Yeah i remember is like the Boy has full confidence for his next project imo

MrPJPYeah exactly that's what I was thinking too. But I just keep thinking back to how there were all these wishes from fans for Drake to do a double album. And then he did it with Scorpion. I just sometimes wonder whether he ever sees the calls for a IYRT2 or More Life 2 and thinks f*** it I'll do it.
I do agree with you though. I'd prefer if he didn't
I think IYRT2-esce would work if he's doing all Boi-1da beats again, similarly with More Life 2 maybe if he's back in Europe, maybe on tour.
I don't think he can capture those feelings again though, maybe a tape inspired by them though

A lot of the hate was initially. Even 40 told Akademiks that they missed the mark on More Life and he couldnt be more wrong. Its perfect for what it intended to do

IMO more life has the most duds and the weirdest tracklist, and some of the songs I return to the least in his discography
It’s just a bit forgettable, outside some major highs, to me

It has a weird tracklist because its an ovosr episode in LP form..
Drake putting us onto a bunch of artists and making them shine with a lot of different sounds. Only songs I dont care for are Portland and Ice Melts.
It also has the best transitions of any Drake project

I get what it is I called off work so I could watch the premier in 2017
But, idk, it’s just not interesting to me. Only tracks I really ever replay are the tropical ones, nothings into something’s, teenage fever / lose you very occasionally, and do not disturb
I feel like he just captured the vibe better on views & subsequent projects
