I thought I'd hijjack someone else's thread with some actual reasoning as to why Drake will be dropping tomorrow.

Tomorrow night is New Years Eve, it's also Thursday, the first day of the week sales are counted for the billboard hot 100.
Here are some reasons I think Drake is likely to drop his new album, and not a single like many have suggested.

    1. He recently released his Nike line NOCTA to great success and hype, essentially acting as his follow up single to LNCL.

    2. HitsDailyDouble reported a huge release coming on Jan 1 - i.e. Drake (he already announced CLB would drop January).

    3. The meme potential of Drake dropping to start off the new year, after the tumultuous year we had in 2020 - it would surely pop off on twitter.

    4. There are 0 planned major releases for the next 3 weeks, so he has a great chance of being #1 on the billboard for at least 3 consecutive weeks.

    Quote me when I'm right
