my 11 year old brother IDOLIZED this man, he was so damn excited to finally be able to see a black leading superhero when Black Panther came out, I took that lil nigga 3 times lmao. Idk how I’m gonna tell him about this

I was not a fan of Black Panther at all prior to him being in the MCU. I thought he was just Marvel's token black hero. Everyone would always describe him as "black Batman". So I just brushed it off. But Chadwick really played a pivotal role in making me a fan of the character. He has become damn near my favorite Superhero period. I went and read damn near every single comic containing Black Panther since then. I went to see Black Panther opening night, in my full traditional Nigerian attire. I was so damn proud bro. F***.
