Without spoiling how much of the last few minutes is foreshadowing
As in the door sequence or the teaser at the end?
Minor thing, but personally feel like the show didn't do Makima justice. She is not as imposing and threatening in the show as she is in the manga.
Mappa made her all cutesy and s***, for no reason.

This scene in the manga was fr startling. Like, Fujimoto draws her in a very deliberate way that imo mappa didn't translate well.
Not to mention some unnecessary shots of her ass that mappa decided to throw in. Makima's sexualization in the manga happens from denji's POV, not the audience's.
fascinating, I agree she’s not imposing in an obvious way but she still presents that machiavellian energy before she even shows her powers, she’s intimidating but a bit unassuming

She’s less Machiavellian and more of a ominous figure in the manga especially after that train reveal in season 1
Sometimes I forget this is set in the 90s

She was extremely ominous in the anime as well. I think the voice actor and the way MAPPA did her expressions played a big role in it.
Literally all the anime only people found her unsettling af after like 3 episodes
Been hearing a lot about this. It's fire ?
Been going through it. Can confirm it is indeed fire

Just enough for second season
The new chapter
Denji cursed to go after women that want to kill him
calm before the storm. waiting for s*** to pop off
Sure
Imma be real with you boss but I’m not understanding what you’re saying to my question
Anyways, the door is a big foreshadow and is actually framed against the lyrics "I feel I've forgotten something" when it appears in the OP. The teaser is just next szn material.

This sorts of correlates to a very small gripe of mine, yet imo still valid: they made denji too swole for what he actually Is. Boy could barely eat, never worked out in his life, for a long time the little crumbs he ate were unhealthy, and hes presented as your average guy with down to earth ambitions although somewhat swayed by his terrible upbringing. I loved that for once the MC in a shonen manga was skinny fat like most people are, and even after becoming CSM he didnt get muscles cause its not like he needs those to use his powers, at best he gets healthier because he starts to live a normal life. Again, small complaint but that to me adds to the subtle characterization this series is great at
Episode 3 outro is amazing ngl I wish it was permanent
it’s the best ending for sure imo, captures the essence of csm perfectly
