Told y’all ending it on the door made sense since it’s the first and last scene but also the second time Pochita speaks
Anyways, I’m glad we got the Reze teaser at the end. All in all amazing adaptation so far, I would not expect this direction but I respect the director’s vision and him sticking to it
Imma miss this :( , s*** made me fall in love with the series all over again . Can’t wait to relive the rest and the director did a hell of a job for his first show
if season 2 is next year ill be amazed
Mappa got Vinland, Hell's Paradise and Jujutsu Kaisen upcoming so earliest start date for season 2 seems to be fall 2023

what does the manga deliver that people maybe think doesn’t translate to the anime? cause I love everything about this lol

i actually prefer the anime but the manga is more chaotic feeling so i can see why people prefer that. It’s also maybe a panel or two during the early parts of the story that just feel better but the anime elevated everything else for me . I just think the manga format that people love would not translate well in an episodic format
dam this episode went by so fast but they nailed all the s*** they needed to do
besides like a few nitpicks i thoroughly enjoyed this adaptation
that last himeno shot

There’s nothing I could say that’s as detailed and nuanced as this piece here. Tho it’s from the first 3 episodes so it’s outdated but you’ll get where the criticism comes from.

Manga I think feels a bit more rapid fire in pace, you can breeze through that thing in the blink of an eye. There was definitely some padding and extra time filling, like the Himeno POVs.
Though I think that the anime does a good job and gets you to like the characters more. Perhaps that's just the nature of adding voice acting and music, but Himeno in the manga I never really cared about, I was indifferent on her. In the anime though I like her.
Pretty good adaptation
Good run
Felt like it ended a little quick. Loved the build up all season and finding more about the world.
Guessing the whole door s*** and the mystery lady at the end are quite important?
this not being two cour is a crime, good final ep tho
this is such a master piece. last episode was crazy
Ik I'm pretty sad we won't get another episode for 2 years probably
