Excited for anime only’s to see episode 2 . We get introduced to the world/themes and cast more plus the pacing becomes more breakneck (in a good way) .

I do love that they made episode one focused and somber . Makes you way more attached to Denjis plight before we expand

The cgi for csm is waaaay better than Berserk 2016, and it's not bad but i still wish they just did the whole thing in 2d, obviously vry hard so i can understand

It is what it is. The scale of these mangas now are insane. They just do not have the time or budget to hand draw all these scenes. Them MAPPA employees already working 18 hour days 360 days a year and s***. Let them have some room to breathe a lil bit.

No doubt the real important fights are gonna be a spectacle. This was an irrelevant ass devil that was killed instantly in the manga. At least they expanded the fight a lil. All we can ask for.

This first episode is perfect.

The CGI in this was honestly pretty good. It's noticeable but i still think it works very well. Anime CGI is getting way better

This is the first time I’m seeing a situation like this unfold so it’s interesting . Chainsaw man as it was initially releasing was good and overtime took the story in unthinkable places . The hype was organically built and then imploded during the climax of the story . The common anime watcher has now been hearing about how good the series is for years but it’s unfair to them since their expectations are overstated compared to manga readers .

They will be amazed just as we are during plot points but it will have a critical gaze (for some) unlike how it was for most manga readers. Even the late ones had the luxury of binge reading and seeing it come together through the initial doubt.
