When drawing gesture exaggeration is a rule so in almost any drawn medium the comedy relies on that.
When you try a more realistic approach like they doing in the anime you lose that element and the comedy falls flat, am not saying the anime is comedy terrorism but it just aint as funny imoI see a lot of ppl say that and I don’t feel the same I laughed or didn’t laugh at all the same points
