True but I want chance to drop undisputed classics cus I know that the nigga can spit with the best of em looking at his catalogue before TBD. I don’t want acid rap to be his peak
I doubt it will be b
Holy s*** you really made a MLK joke while being a hispanic saying nigga.
@XantaClaus @SUPERMAN @Nightmares they getting flagrant
They're always like that. That's why I dont f*** with them folk like that. I'm Black Panamanian and I still don't f*** with them like that because they don't know how to act. But everytime I start saying "my spic" their tamales get all in a bunch
compare his 2016 hype with this poverty ass 2019-chance.
f*** this guy for falling off so hard.

It's still better than promoting d****, overdosing and ending up on a shirt.
What does that have anything to do with this...?

One of the main critiques on Chance’s music lately is the change in subject matter. When he first came up, he was the depressed, acid rapper that everyone loved and now he’s a christian nigga with a wife and a purpose in life.
Same reason Future is afraid to change his subject matter and we keep getting the same album from him over and over

People loved surf and coloring book. I don’t think the topics he talked about on TBD was that much different than those 2 other projects, it was just done poorly

I remember Coloring Book being liked by a lot of people, but also being called his worst project by a lot of people. Also I remember that year being the beginning of him being labeled corny a lot more

Also keep in mind tho Chance became like alot born again Christians incredibly self righteous and rude tbh.
His attitude towards fans online and the media was terrible coupled with his new image of being nice.
He just continued to lose his good will and his personality ironically became more disrespectful.
I think if he maintained being chill it woulda been fine.
He could have honestly just said “ tickets were low and even if I loved making the project I need to make a project that returns to my roots “
I know he didn’t think he was about to go touring off The Big Day.
He legitimately thought this was going to be the best album of all time. Had big ambitions and failed
He just gotta take it on the chin and go back to the lab
