People loved surf and coloring book. I don’t think the topics he talked about on TBD was that much different than those 2 other projects, it was just done poorly

I remember Coloring Book being liked by a lot of people, but also being called his worst project by a lot of people. Also I remember that year being the beginning of him being labeled corny a lot more

Also keep in mind tho Chance became like alot born again Christians incredibly self righteous and rude tbh.
His attitude towards fans online and the media was terrible coupled with his new image of being nice.
He just continued to lose his good will and his personality ironically became more disrespectful.
I think if he maintained being chill it woulda been fine.

As much as I would like Chance to go off and go back to dropping great music, idk if he’s in the right mindset rn. Just give us Good Ass Job and/or the Bino collab then come through w/ a solo in 2022
