All i’m saying is its kinda uncharacteristic of him to become a trap rapper/talk like this in his mid 30’s, even if we do assume he sold a little weed or whatever
although if we be fr that definitely would have been apart of his rapper “kit”, him having the trapper element would have made him a much bigger artist along with everything else he had to him, him being perceived as soft is a large part of why he fell off

Aside from a few songs (Juice, ULB verse was classic), same. It’s funny because I get it’s a big part of his appeal for people it clicked with and I really tried to get into it lol
I never could tho I don’t really “get” why the stuff people hate like Big Day is supposed to be “worse” than Coloring Book. I don’t get why the “I love my wife” thing is any cornier than his CB persona (again I get people like his earnestness)
For me his voice always distracted from good bars and I always disliked his beat selection.
