Literally none of this would have happened if he just took the 6 tracks he dropped on 2018, added 5-6 more tracks and called it his debut. Instead of rushing out 22 tracks of BS in a 4-5 month timespan.
Chance was literally one of the three biggest artists on the planet in 2016, along with Drake and Kanye, and he just completely fumbled everything. It's embarrassing honestly. And the worst part is, it could've all been easily prevented.
S*** kinda sad fr, it really seemed like he could do no wrong back then. I dont know who or what possessed him to release that big day album; probably too many yes men around.
Getting so much success as an independent artist is not possible without a great team and management that basically has to do the job of a label, I remember (back in 2014-15) reading about how much Pat helped chance.
All the success really went to Chance's head. It was clear that his "positive"/"grateful" persona was an act but this really confirmed it.
Chance is scum

So he’s alleging he hasn’t been paying him what they agreed, which was originally supposed to be 15% of various revenue streams. He tried to request the money which he estimated to be $3mil and Chances dad tried to offer him $350K instead lmao
No.. this is not saying that chance hasn’t been paying him since 10 Day
10 Day & Acid Rap just got put onto streaming services in 2020 or maybe even 2019, and, this lawsuit is alleging that (some) money generated from the streaming of those albums has not been paid to Pat. So it’s only in the past year or so that he hasn’t been paid. Maybe even only since April
But the thing is, I’m pretty sure Pat is owed that money. Like, Coloring Book came out in 2016 and Pat/Chance had an agreement back then that Pat would receive 15% of revenue from the album. Just bc he gets fired now doesn’t mean he should stop receiving that 15%. Bc ppl are still listening to the album today and will be for years so he should still be getting that money based on the agreement they had
Unless their agreement was he gets 15% only while he is still working with chance. I don’t know why Pat didn’t get it in writing though bc it seems like he’s trying to cite/reference an oral agreement that they had

Yes I misread that, thanks for the clarification
Chance or Travis, who is more trustworthy?
Definitely Travis . Trav was f***ed up in the beginning part of his career as a kid trying to make it and he grew out of that. Chance has the opposite timeline, getting worse as time goes on
No but focus on yourself
Why should i take your advice iluvmusic123? Next ur probably gonna tell me to quit d****
Damn bro the one time I met Pat he was super chill and dope to be around. This makes me lose even more faith in chance smh
Remember the video of lyor Cohen telling thug he needed to work harder on putting out more well rounded, concise tracks instead of hundreds of loosies and thread was full of ktters calling him a filthy jew and how thug could do what he likes
Damn, this guy is a large reason as to why Chance was really established without actually being signed.
