Ventura was always going to come out after Oxnard, it was planned to be a double album originally and they split it up into 2

Oxnard was nowhere near as bad as The Big Day tbh. It just pales in comparison to the majority of Anderson Paaks other work, Dre was doing a little too much at times.

He hasn’t really dropped a bad verse or song since heart and the tongue years ago. Like all of those white text caption lyric social media snippets, the loosies you mentioned, every feature from like 2021 to now has been good/really good. It’s just a shame that now we have a release cycle finally starting for the album next month, the official lead single is somehow the only thing he’s dropped in like 4 years that’s bad 😭

And it’s the one that’s gonna get the most attention aside from The Highs and The Lows, which is the painful part
