Coloring Book IS a good project, but since it wasn’t as “in your face” and eclectic as Acid Rap people hated it when it dropped.

My personal thing with Coloring Book is that I can respect it as it is, but its more religious tone was something that didn’t really resonate with me as I didn’t really grow up with religion or come from a religious background. I’ve been to church like twice in my life. Even so, its messaging is great and it’s a natural evolution of Chance’s career imo. He grew up since 10 Day & Acid Rap and Same D**** is great example of that
