This is an outlier and not the norm at all. Doctors do sometimes misdiagnose like everything. It’s just uncommon. Also just because that happened to your sister has nothing to do with other people lol. The statistics are that the rates between men and women diagnosis are the same.

The crux of his argument is literally “she doesn’t have bipolar 2 shes just loud and attention seeking” and he backs it up by mentioning “stats” that he won’t conjure even one of. Like maybe it just makes more sense she has it and we haven’t seen 99.9% of her daily personal life to see how Bipolar 2 affects her life, why should we not take her at her word. It’s baffling

We are just saying it’s relatively uncommon and that you cannot diagnose or undiagnose somebody based off a 1 minute twitter clip, with no backround in psychiatry. Which even if you did have, which you don’t, you still couldnt say anything based off the clip.

lol bipolar isnt one of those things. It has pretty strict criteria to be diagnosed and is relatively uncommon. It’s very cut and dry and one of the oldest recognized diseases in human history. This isnt someone saying they have adhd or ocd because they cant focus in class or like things being folded neat.
