Her best album imo. I love the old school and summer vibes of this whole album.
The only thing I didn't like was all the skits in there. It felt unnecessary and made the album a little too long. Other than that, this album is close to, if not, a no skip. Similar to her debut album, it blends the more contemporary and modern sound of 2000s R&B and the old school vibes of the 70s and 80s through samples very well. Some may see this as a negative, as it may not show much growth from her first album, but I see this as a perfected method. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. She found the formula with her first album and perfected all the little details missing for her second album. I also have to give her props for writing most of her music too. Say what you want about her vocals, she's a very skilled songwriter.
ashanti my top5 r&b artist, such a queen amazing vocals
I think her biggest vocal song on this album is Breakup 2 Makeup
wish i was a girl so i could relate more and enjoy ashanti songs more
You already have her in your top 5 r&b artists

right. THAT is what's stopping her from being #1?
Ima check this out. Been listening to early 2000s RnB albums of this era. Amerie’s All I Have is also a really good one from this era.

Her first 3 albums are her best, and most successful. Her music after wasn't bad, it just doesn't hit the same.
