Tried to find the hottest take that I haven’t already said in this thread: Heaven or Las Vegas to D.D. is the worst 3 track run on Trilogy
Honestly, I might agree even though I love Valerie
Often kinda sucks
Damn this might be your first miss ITT
so does endless lol
also DD is a great cover
At Your Best one of the greatest covers OAT tho Isley brothers should give up rights to it
I like Eos the least literally because it starts w a cover
DD is impeccable tho
Second half of Kiss Land the song is the best thing he’s ever made
The not something to relate to part and that whole portrayal of the lifestyle is absurdly good
prefer second half of love in the sky but not mad at this take
i think he thought about it, remember that pic before the era started with the dreads and headband?
The "album mode full" or something like that? That was heat
The Weeknd and Drake most consistent and most influential artists for the culture in the 2010s. Thank god for both
The thing people mean with wanting Trilogy Abel back is just wanting him to make a non filler amazing experience again, it's not really the sound itself. His last 2 albums just had subpar songs on them, if BBTM was full of the quality of TYF, Often and The Hills it'd be a classic. Same if Starboy didn't have a lot of the filler in the second half with maybe 2 or 3 songs extra on the project at the level of Secrets, Die for You and Reminder.

but those weren't freeform
they were twisted. i remember tho that in fall 2017 right before lotf tour ended he started growing some freeforms.

maybe after this album, free form dreads take time tho

Well yeah that’s like the most unnatural part of trilogy lol HoLV is the end of Thursday, Valerie is a bonus track and DD starts a new tape
