I think this is the first time he’s actually been able to bridge the gap between his old sound and his new poppier sound

this album is so stupidly good. i thought he'd never top Kiss Land which has my favourite songs from him (The Town, Adaptation, Love in the Sky, Kiss Land) but this just hits it out of the park.

i got upper-level tickets to see him in Toronto before the album came out. i'm so in love with this album already that i'm planning on selling my tickets and finding floor tickets for resale, when he does re-schedule.

i thought j hus' album was the best so far this year, but after hours is my new #1.
