i’m f***ed up and watched the in my eyes video to me it represented a relationship where one (i.e. abel) was in love with a manipulative liar, but he constantly saw through her lies . she wanted abel around for his image or whatever, but didn’t want to emotionally commit, so she was also in fear he would leave as well. the lies almost caught onto her until she manipulates abel into being emotionless and numb with her love, allowing her to have him as an accessory and still be evil
